Ataturk is mentioned a gaggle of times in 'Snow' (which I finished and am still a little disappointed in. I seriously think the translator made it DRY). I didn't know much about him, so I Wikipedia-ed. He was the 1st President of Turkey. But, better than that, his first name was Mustafa (LION KING!) which means "the chosen."

Also, I think we may have lost Tera for a minute. Her fiancee came home early from his month + long trip to Southeast Asia, to surprise her.

look at you speedy reader!!! I'm sorry to hear that you are disappointed in your book, though I am very interested to read it. east of eden is slow going so far. but i "get" to lightwalk this afternoon for 3 hours so i might make some headway. or i might do a crossword.
