i have a hard time ever putting a book down unfinished.. just seems wrong, but the rare few that i have..were terrible and i definitely would not want to make anyone suffer!
on the other hand i do really enjoy the blogs that are slightly critical and synnical (SP?)... hmmm well just let me know what you guys think

Good question. I mean, no one wants to suffer. But we aren't going to LOVE every book we (or others) pick out. I would vote for...you can switch your own choice, as long as the switch happens in time to mail it to the next person. But, you've GOTTA read the others' books (or at least pretend to and not tell the rest of us that you didn't).

I think that you should have to finish what you start. That's the tyranical way that I have always lived my life. Suffering is good for the soul-- and hey we'll all be suffering together right?
